Band Size

This is the measurement taken under the breasts, parallel to the floor, around the circumference of the body.

Breast Form

A simple term used in place of the word prosthesis. It may be made of silicone, foam or other material, in order to mimic the shape of the breast.

Breast Prosthesis

A silicone mould which resembles the shape and weight of your original breast. Placed in your bra to restore shape, and helps maintain balance and alignment of the spine.

Cup Size

The size of the breast. It is determined by finding the relationship between the measurement of the underband and the overbust.

Pronounced pros-theis-ees. Plural form of prosthesis.

Prosthesis
